Biography

Hi, I'm Damien Maguire and I am a professional photographer with over twenty five years industry experience. 

I am highly accomplished in many areas of commercial photography but I specialise in Architecture and Interiors, Products, Portraits and PR.

I shoot for commercial clients across the UK and Europe and am proud to be able to offer a professional and friendly service to all the businesses and organisations I work with, be they large or small, established or start-ups.

My career began in London working as a press photographer for local newspapers, graduating to commissions for national and international newspapers and magazines. 

I moved to Manchester in 2002 and began work for the Manchester Evening News. 

In 2006 I launched my own professional studio in Manchester, gaining a number of high profile commercial clients in the UK and Europe.

At this time I had my artistic work exhibited in the Manchester Corn Exchange as well as selling my canvases and prints to a number of commercial premises and domestic residences. 

Subsequently, I relocated to the beautiful Calder Valley in West Yorkshire, opening a new studio in Hebden Bridge and enjoying exploring and photographing the locations and scenery there. 

I produced a successful range of Calendars, Cards and Fine Art Prints and had my artistic prints exhibited at an Art Gallery in Todmorden, West 

In December 2020 I relocated to Belgium with my family but  am continuing to shoot for commercial clients in the UK and Europe as well as exploring and photographing the amazing landscapes and cities  of Belgium and Europe. 

I can communicate in basic French and and am enjoying learning more.
